《黑客战队：异度神兆》是一款RPS游戏。游戏的背景设置在黑暗的未来，玩家在游戏中扮演着Secreta Secretorum这个强大组织中的一个精英战士，这个组织为夺得联邦统治权不惜一切手段，但是另一个神秘的外太空的入侵者将对人类带来毁灭的危机，使得他们不得不先对抗外地，保护人类。
游戏中玩家角色可以进化，还有武器和身体的一些其他附件可以购买、学习到新的技能、使用新的能力、同时玩家为了让主角不陷入疯狂的情况，还要控制好肉体和精神之间的平衡。
